Egyptian Lion with Persian Treatment (ca.619-629 B.C) Tamer Fahim and Mofida el Wishay Fayoum University - Suez Canal University Abstract It is worth noting that the Egyptians regarded the animals with much more interests this concern reflect on the life of Egyptian and their relation of the domestic and wild animals. The Egyptians represented all aspect of animals though the scenes of tombs such as bringing up, give birth, feeding and others. These scenes reproduced on artifacts were actually centered on animals, or on any realistic and imaginary form of interaction between animal and human beings. From Predynastic Period the Egyptian Artisans have portrayed the lions in fantastically methods based on their own vision, and then they begin producing a balance style of art with the symmetrical proportion. The fully developed figurative motif of lion s representations appears, during the Predynastic period through palettes and vases, then it had continued during Old Kingdom in same depiction and proportion and we could become remark the shape of lion from its style of art which its root dated back to Dynastic period.
